I am a Mechanical Engineer (P.Eng.) with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree from the University of Alberta. My work focuses on mechanical design and automation, where I combine engineering with programming to create practical solutions.
Currently I am a Design Specialist at Tech Sonic LP, developing automated heat exchanger cleaning systems. My career includes roles as a Mechanical Designer and Lead where I guided projects from concept, through prototyping, and into production.
At the University of Alberta, I led the design of a Large-Scale CNC and Semi-Automated Wood Framing machine that improved the efficiency and reduced waste in residential construction. Early in my career, I also designed a Cartesian Rotary 3D Braider to support my research in composite materials, and developed custom test equipment including a Drum Electro-Spinner, and an Optical Strain Measurement System.
